AMIRA

Amira, the transgender

warrior princess, also known as Soyra is the bass player and vocalist of Glittershot. She hails from the planet Glycinea Maxis. As a child, Amira learned classical music under the tutelage of the royal family's favored composers. She has played in several rock and metal acts in the past. In 2016, Amira formed Glittershot with her best friends, Catilla and Emilia. Their debut album, 'Very Terrible People' went double aluminum on Glycinea Maxis. The first single, 'Tortellini Interference' held the number one spot on the Royal Music Charts for 23 consecutive weeks.

In 2018, Glittershot played a sold out show at the Royal Amphitheater when the concert was interrupted by a sneak attack, conducted by Amira's sworn enemies, the Gaters. The amphitheater was badly damaged, but thankfully, nobody was injured in the attack. Amira chased the attackers through a hypergate portal where she ultimately defeated the Gaters with the help of her friends, the Social Justice League.

Glittershot is currently finishing production on their fourth album, 'Mythical'. As Amira states, "Mythical is a departure from the niche we found at home. It's much more universal, and I feel it's our best work".
